About The Silvered Pane
The Silvered Pane is an independent English magazine about Venetian mirrors. It covers the history of the glass mirror and the furnaces of Murano, the workshop sequence that turns flat glass into a framed mirror, the styles and forms the tradition produced, and the practical business of choosing, hanging, cleaning and packing a mirror at home. The magazine sells nothing and is not connected to any manufacturer, dealer or workshop.
